Is…is that a baseball stuck in his butt…?

Nice doggie. Ain’t he a door able?

She’s looking a bit pale today. Or rather grayish.

My dog would get so happy to be going for a ride in the car. When we got to the vet, she would get the saddest look on her face.

Our dogs were happy to go to the vet. The cat, not so much.

My Scottie Susie could tell when we were headed to vets. She would start shaking.

Starting with the very first time you take them; happy voice and lots of treats before you even start to get in the car to go. “Come on! We’re going to the Vet! Here’s a cookie ‘cause we’re going to the Vet! It’s sooo much fun! Cookie cookie cookie!”

Be sure to clip doggie’s claws. Show them door as reminder.

That’s our dog yesterday when he went to the vet.

I have a cat like that, in fact I am taking her to the vet tomorrow for her annual checkup and shots. They give us tranquilizers to give her before we come as she turns into a wildcat when we enter the vet’s office.

Not fond memories though.

Reminds me of my childhood visits to the dentist.

My dog tries to bolt as soon as the vet door is opened and it catches a whiff of that veterinary smell.
