On a cosmic level, we don’t matter. Earth-bound, in the here and now, we certainly do.

Existential crisis is tight

That’s right along the line of all those folks that love going to watch movies that terrorize them, saying it makes them feel so alive. Both seem to be types of psychological reinforcement.

right wing weirdos destabilized the world

… but we still do not matter.

To the Universe, no we don’t. To us, individually and collectively yes. And that’s enough.
