Close your eyes and pretend to be asleep… If you don’t see it coming, it won’t hurt so much, or so I was told…- Old rules of van/car pools

What about the new law that says that a red light means that 3 more cars may go through before final stop? That’s what I’ve seen. (oh, and gmartin997, don’t diss bikers; my husband and I rode in our youth, and we and our group of friends always rode very responsibly.)

During the Vietnam era people used to have a stencil that said, the war, and would spray paint it under stop on the stop signs. Now days I would like to make up a stencil that says …. to temptation….

As a driver’s license examiner I actually passed a kid who ran a red light. He did stop first. All was clear, so he turned left just as I’d told him to do. He thought he’d failed, but I told him to keep driving. Upon returning to the parking lot I told him if he could tell me the one thing he did wrong I’d pass him. He did and I did.

In Maryland “Yield” and “Merge” both mean “STOP”

Harken. Wake up…alert alert alert…that’s what MOST of those signals mean. “Conditions changing…use awareness…!” etc.

When I’m working my vehicle weighs anywhere from 18-36 tons, if someone cuts in front of me and I can’t stop, they lose.

That’s what the yellow light is for.
