I feel like the first panel was common knowledge after the 80s. We used to be told we “can have it all.” Now I think women realize that it’s not so easy, and it takes a village. As for the second panel, I wish I was told that sooner. I tried to make relationships work for much too long.
Hello Cathy friends! Happy Monday! Have a great day, all!
I don’t know why people have such a problem believing their parents were young once too and had to overcome many of the same obstacles that they are facing now – and may have even learned lessons from the experience. Ah well, every generation somehow survives anyway.

I enjoy not having my own children, and I enjoy other people’s children.

Me too. Babysit nieces & nephews, fill them with sweet snacks, & send them home to their parents to deal with the sugar high! I’m a MEAN sister!
