I’m going with Darwin here: survival of the fittest. Given how important texting is to the mating rituals of young people. Those who text the best will be the fittest and reproduce to pass on their genes. This means we will evolve into a race of large-thumbed people.
On some future street corner a bunch of teen boys are hanging out when a girl walks by and one of then nudges the other and says, “Get a load of the THUMBS on her!”
