It’d be funny if it weren’t so obvious.

I still say Amazon is a front for the cardboard and packaging cartels….

    Spot-on!

Tonights dinner included fancy all natural wild caught salmon in a heavy cardboard box with lots of ink explaining how it is environmental properly caught etc. Then inside is a foil bag with your fish. I think the cardboard weighed more than the food….

I’d definitely keep that styrofoam shell that was inside the cardboard box.

I have one reusable plastic grocery bag…..that’s where I keep the paper grocery bags I save and re-use till they’re worn out and torn.

Monty will make many solo trips to the grocery store if he only has one bag to fill. If driving (does he have a car?) he would pollute more than 4 or 5 plastic grocery bags … a false environmentalist.

I hate those peanut things. If it’s anything really fragile it just comes in an old stomped on dirty plastic bag with three rolls of tape around the top of it.

Way back when, we’d use crumpled up newspapers to fill in the empty spaces in packages we were mailing to friends and family.

A while back I got 2 quarter sized batteries in a box that was 10 X 10 inches and at least 6 inches tall. I thought the box was empty but found the batteries under the flap I the bottom of the box. What a waste.

I recently received eye medication in the mail that was shipped in frozen gel packs. The instructions for the medication are to store at room temperature. I have been receiving it for years from another pharmacy that bothered to read the instructions and use normal (much cheaper) shipping and packaging.

In their defense, the last time they sent me soft goods like that Amazon put them in a vinyl envelope. The manufacturer had put them in plastic bag. So it wasn’t as bad as it could have been.
