Aaah the frizbe. We had a dog, Tara a collie that never could figure out what to do with one or anything that was thrown. She would walk over look and then walk away. Sweet and gentle but the lights were on and no one was home.
Good Morning Grog, Dry, Cleo, Lonewolf, StelBel, puppybreath, noicant and all CDers out there.
Good morning to all you CD kids..Sugie63 that sounds very much like my Barty. He just doesn’t get it or go get it either :-). He’s a sweet dog but has been known to walk into door frames because he was looking the other way and other fun stuff like that. Our Barty mantra is: He tries real hard and we love him no matter what..Very cute Easter greeting as usual StelBel..
(note: I don’t have a clue why there’s a red “X” in a square in my comment above. I did not include a graphic or anything, but must have mis-typed something. (?) )
StelBel, I don’t see a red x at all.My roosters are country style and it’s all just in my kitchen. I also collect (collected) bells and wind chimes. My house is small so I had to stop somewhere! I also collect seashells from my travels to the ocean. I have some sitting in a crystal bowl one of my end tables, and I find one or two on the floor once in a while. You’ll NEVER guess who is doing that, will ya? LOL! I have even sprinkled white pepper in the with the shells and they still do it! LOL! I find changing avatars so easy, and still haven’t done my homework on you and x_Tech’s instructions.
It’ll be interesting to see what the coroner says. The official statement says he died of apparent natural causes. He seems too young to die of natural causes.
Yeah, and I suspect that in time it’ll put a fair number of people out of work around the country that sell only his art & other products in his signiture galleries There are 3 galleries here in the Houston area, including one in Galveston.
The stuff remaining in inventory at this point will probably get so pricy that the average person wouldn’t be able to touch the stuff.
If I’m not mistaken, he died before he completed his Disney series of paintings.
StelBel that sounds nice. The shell lights and colored glass theme.
It’s really simple to do the avatar thing. First find a picture you like, save to your computer. I save them to “My Pictures” but you can save them to your desktop if you want or create a folder just for that purpose. Then go to Edit your Profile, Update avatar and the Browse bar will appear. Then just browse until you find that picture and upload it. I have found that .jpeg or .gif works best. You can do that also with your own photos if you have them saved to a folder or your desktop.
Fellow Baby, there is a dealer that has quite the collection of Kinkade paintings on hand in Farmersville, TX, northeast of Dallas. I bought my favorite piece from there and he had others I wished I could have. A real nice guy, too. He made the trip worthwhile as I had just moved to the Houston area at the time. I have the feeling that after he’s sold all he wants to sell, he’ll retire. He also tells me he’s got quite the personal collection.
I hope to get a full week off in May. If I do, I think I’ll have to take another trip up there.
I spent the whole day away from home. We had a lovely lunch on the waterfront and I took Penny on a long walk. I also bought her a metal fence-like crate to keep her in temporarily at night to keep her from digging incessantly at our wool carpets.
cleo You may want to put something soft and cuddly in there with her to keep her company if you haven’t already. Of course I know you wouldn’t fit in there, LOL, but maybe a blanket or stuffed toy or something.
My boss has cages for his dogs. If I didn’t know any better I’d wonder if he ever takes them out sometimes, because every time I see them they’re in the cage. However, I know that’s not the case as I know they do get to roam out in the yard and around the house, They’re in the yard when he’s at the office, and he does take them for walks. But in the cages usually when people come to visit. And you should see his carpeting. You wouldn’t want them messing with that or anything else.

Dry and Dusty Premium Member over 12 years ago
Yes, unless he had a bad heart. In some cases I believe they call that natural causes. You have some really valuable artwork now I would think, sadly.
