They should have learned, especially when Wally did the same thing 10 days ago with the Thanksgiving dinner.

I saw a cartoon where the dog in Wally’s position says “I’m so glad you’re home. The tree fainted.”

A few minutes is all he needs to give up all hope of your return and turn feral.

They might as well rename this strip “Wally” going by the last few weeks.

This will be our second year with our main tree in it’s new location. It used to be setup in the front end of our living room. This involved moving a chest husband made to hold our DVDs to the dining room (purposely put it on wheels for this) where it held the dining room tree. I did most of the decorating and we have a LOT of ornaments.

Then he bought his big TV for Christmas 2 years ago. We had calculated Christmas decorating into his decision to buy the tree. The tree is now setup in the back of the living room and the coffee table which sat there is kept permanently in the dining room.

What we had not taken into account was when the tree was at the front of the room it could be seen from 2 sides – the room itself and the front door area as same is open to the living room. In the back of the room only one side is seen. Will be completely changing how/where the ornaments go on the tree this year.

And I cannot even comfortably watch the TV – I have to wear anti-flare glasses as my eyes are not happy when watching digital TV.

In the back of the room only one side is seen. Will be completely changing how/where the ornaments go on the tree this year.

Also we put Christmas knickknacks on various pieces of furniture in the living room. We had calculated with the change we would still have the same pieces of furniture to put these on. However, we cannot put any on the top of the chest as the TV is on a table over it and have lost all of that display area.

Due to all this I am not happy about the change. And I cannot even comfortably watch the TV – I have to wear anti-flare glasses as my eyes are not happy when watching digital TV. We watch it twice a week together – Saturday night date night movie substitute and Friday night midnight movie. (He watches another movie on Sunday afternoons alone.)
