    My dad bag-boyed his way through college, and after that would never let anyone else bag his groceries. He was a master-packer, that’s for sure. We never had a broken egg or a crushed bag of chips.

    60 years ago, when I was in the boy scouts, we use to help bag groceries at the local A&P grocery store. Then we would carry them out to their car.

    I was a bag boy at a military PX run by my Mom. We worked only for tips, which became illegal, so now there are no bag boys at the PX.
