I of course am to young to remember Who’ll Stop the Rain and only heard it on the oldie station or my grandmother singing it BUT I seem to remember it was one of Fogety”s many anti-war songs.

Sounds like Curls is describing the weather conditions here - minus the breeze. I’m not complaining tho I’m on vacation - yahoo!!!

there was a soul tune called “i wish it would rain” about a guy who wanted to cry for a lost love, if i remember correctly, and wanted the rain to hide his tears. i don’t remember who recorded it, however.

Didn’t Phyl Collins do a song called “I Wish It Would Rain Down” or something like that.
