I remember when the mini-series ruled the TV. I watched a big chunk of them, from Roots to Winds of War. I think Shogun was the best, but Masada was really good too.
Still, Roots was amazing. I don’t think anyone under 30 can understand what it was like to have virtually everyone in America watching a TV show at the same time.

Well, in a miniseries you usually see some actual acting, and someone actually writes something for them to act out.
