AND limit the time in office to 6 years total over ones life time with one third being elected every 2 years and no pension. Office holders would never have to be in continuous campaign mode and could get about the business we elected them to do.
Sure wish there would be a Constitutional Amendment to limit the terms of Supreme Court judges. Only problem is that there would be flip-flop chaos with issues like abortion or stem cell research. The balance of power would be a partisan joke.
