Good soon afternoon all. My mom status changes. She still in MICU still critical. Very little small steps. I was not expecting any of the problems that occur. Future for her no more Oxycoten for pain. She got sleep but came dislussional. Kitchen now liquids her food intack for easy swollening. She also will receive in future when she is stronger, bad news her and sister young brother passed away he was 82. Health issues. No we did not find out until after funeral was done. Mom could not go anyway.

LOL I’m staying inside with the A/C.

It’s a good day to stay indoors in the basement or air conditioning until it just goes away.

We were pretty hot and muggy until 10 or 11 last night—then a storm blew through a little east of us, and it got cooler. Sort of. But it was still warm and muggy by 6 this morning. And getting hotter by the hour.

You know it’s been a bad summer when you go into a room and think, “this isn’t so very hot”—and the thermostat says 79 or above.

I had to wait on my perscription this morning because the insurence hadn’t okayed it. They had to call them and after a long time they did. Put me over $700 towared getting out of the donut hole and was a lot hotter getting home.

Once again, extended forcast shows every day in the triple digets.

Yikes! That’s expensive!How come they never make you wait when it’s cooling off, or the rain is falling?

Cooling off would be okay but I avoid being out in the rain.

The NOAA radar shows a rainstorm just West and South of us. But the Watch areas are still further S and W.

Just checked the radar for the Dakotas and seems like a large part is/will get some rain (especially ND).

Yeah, looks like the big rain will be from Minot to Bowman.Montana and Colorado look as bad or worse. KS not so wet.I wonder if MT Lady is under a rain cloud.

And then there’s the twin cities and the Gulf Coast. . . .

If Montana Lady is where I think she is, not now but maybe in a few hours.

Just checking in……and see y’all have been talking about me….:)) We’re not under a rain cloud now…..it was cloudy all day until around 3 p.m., and the sun burned it all off.However, according to the radar, it looks like we’ll be getting some thunder showers around 8 or 9 tonight.Temp hovered around 75 all day, and now it’s spiking to 80.

Tried to watch Manos: The Hands of Fate last night but fell asleep after a bit. This movie was really bad!

It makes Plan 9 From Outer Space seem good! It would be a good movie to watch as a joke because it’s so stupid!

If I not watching something on my computer I have a small TV on in my bedroom. I only get over the air TV. Regular channels are next to worthless but I can get some low power stations and on the weekends thet show old/bad horror movies.

I’m glad I’ve got my video collection and TCM.

One of the low power stations is trying a channel that shows old westerns. Their trying to decide if they’ll keep it. The last time they tried a good channel they said they would keep it and then didn’t.

Good evening all not sure how long be up. Crashed two nights already. For my mom your thoughts are helping. We are seeing some difference in her. Thank fully they have an alarm on her if she try’s to get out of bed goes off. She has done this three times at MICU. For some days her bloodsugar has been somewhat down but gone through 200 to 270 insolin shot. Now under 100. She is eatting a little better. They put a chest tube in for fluid in lungs. I now go to help her eat two times aday. Mom’s cancer results should hopefully be in later in week. She is very weak. What a horrible nightmare that was. I am so glad she is more alert. No more oxycod.
