Talk out the differences between perpetually growing government and a return to freedom (at least when the Repubs aren’t selling out)? Some things shouldn’t be compromised on.
(Sorry if I’ve spoiled anyone’s breakfast, but some things must be taken seriously, even in a cartoon.)
good morning M.L.. i hope your doing fine this morning. one of moms friends is on chemo. she told me it makes her sleep a lot. she just doesn’t have the time to get anything done. she plays with her cat on the couch.and, good morning everyone else. happy, happy, happy!!!crepes please. just keep rolling until i roll away from the table.still love that dog…
Thanks for all your words of encouragement, Tribe! Yes, the number one side effect is fatigue!! You just don’t have energy to do anything for the first 5 or 6 days! I get a lot of reading done, and force myself to put on my snow shoes and take out a walking stick and get some fresh air for at least 10 minutes a day. (that translates to walking to the end of the driveway ……..about 200 feet from the house) It is so good to see all my trees, and then the beautiful view! I LOVE my mountains and trees!!!!’
I’m jumping for joy, because we have a warming trend this week. Supposed to get up around 60° on Friday & Saturday. I do NOT like cold weather. (Not real crazy about the 100° days we had this summer, but the mornings were nice then.)
My in-laws moved to Florida from Pennsylvania after retiring. They’ve been comparing our year-round temps to theirs and South Dakota where my brother-in-law lives. They’ve decided that the weather in KS isn’t so bad after all. We do get very cold and very hot, but the winters often get warm spells which help prevent cabin fever. Even when it is cold, we have lots of sunshine, so as long as one is indoors where it is cozy, it isn’t dreary. The summer temps usually aren’t hotter than FL, and since the humidity is usually lower, easier to take. Unfortunately, KS still has an income tax, so that’s the biggest drawback for them.
Good evening. Guess by myself. SRMom you talk about being cold blooded. My mom is that way. When temps get cold when she goes outside she wears to types of warm jackets. She never puts her hands in her pockets and her hands will be the coldest part on her. And she has a great heart.

Dusty, aren’t you going to tee them off today?
And speaking of tea, I’ll take everything on the menu, BUT the tea. Blech!

Good Afternoon, everybody!
I’m glad that it’s going well, MT Lady! And hope the news continues to be good.
serenasakitty, I don’t know why we don’t really have any snow. Yet. (They say it should show up next week.)

If it were only that easy to shut everyone up. Lunchables and juice boxes, I wish.
