Fellow Baby, you are correct about Adams Rib. I have a few Tracey/Hepburn movies. State of the Union is not among them. I don’t believe I’ve seen it, so I’m not sure if they are in it. I’m sure it’ll be on TCM some day though.
Victor Borge rides again. For those who have never heard of him, he was a classical pianist/comedian who performed in the 40/50/60s.Go to Google. U-tube has some great stuff about him.
Good Morning Grog, Dry, Cleo, Lonewolf, StelBel, puppybreath & all CDers ou there.
Fellow Baby and cleo, The Thin Man series was some of the best EVER MADE! They did have such a rapport on screen and were friends in RL as well. As were John Wayne and Maureen O’Hara who also had a GREAT rapport. Two of the best on screen couple pairings ever, and of course, Hepburn and Tracy!
Fellow Baby I forgot Bogey and Bacall, yes they were good together too. And I agree with you on the Wayne/O’Hara movies. I also liked her with Brian Keith in the original Parent Trap! That was also a good match up. Oh heck, who couldn’t not help but like a CLASS ACT like Maureen O’Hara in any movie!

Yes, Fellow Baby, it was another Hepburn/Tracy movie made in 1948. It also starred Van Johnson, Angela Lansbury and Adolphe Menjou.

Cleo, I’ve seen them, but I don’t own them – at least not yet. But I do have movies of each of them with other leads.

I’ve got 3 other movies of Loy’s and 2 other of Powell. But I wouldn’t mind getting more with them together.

Yeah, but I also liked Bogy & Bacall, Fellow Baby. But my favorite Wayne/O’hara moments were in McLintock & The Quiet Man
