x_Tech, that particular episode of WKRP is one, that just like the “I Love Lucy” episode when they first arrive in Hollywood and William Holden is the guest star, are shows that I have seen a 100+ times and still TO THIS DAY, laugh so hard that the tears come. BLESS YOU MAN! Some of the best comedy out there, still to this day! And sure beats the CRAP they pass off as comedy these days!

Right now the storm is finally starting to head south to wear I live. The wind appears to finally be coming out of the north. It was headed toward pasadena where I work.

A tornado warning just expired where I live.

Some storms are still floating through the area. They may still be there by the time I get home. I hope not.

Well….we adopted Penny. She is actually a year older than we thought. She is 11, but healthy. She is sweet, but seems lost (understandable). She has been here at our home for about an hour and a half and has been apprehensive. We went for a walk and she got to know the neighborhood dog’s at every mailbox. The good news , as far as I am concerned, is that when she was let out of the car and I first met her, she came up to me immediately, without being called.

On this date in 1964, the Beatles had all 5 spots in the Billboard 100, plus 7 more songs in the top 100, 48 years ago. GAWD, am I old! Geez!

Well of course SHE DID CLEO! Having known you as long as I have, I know you are a SWEETIE, and PENNY knew it too! She will become your buddy in no time at all! :-)

my boy. he is 11, (we think) and is a little ragged here. he had just got a bath and was in need of a grooming at this point. we also opted out of the traditional clip.

Everything is progressing nicely. Penny seems like she is shell shocked and is behaving extremely well. I have never adopted a dog this old, but it is like she has life figured out. It is like ahe doesn’t want to do anything to offend.

Fellow Baby & Shika, if you’re still tuned in, I left a cooment responding to Shika’s comment to us.

I’m turning in now. I’ll see you on the flip side, but I’ll be in cost review meetings for most of the day tomorrow, so other than my usual early morning post, I won’t be around until the evening hours.

Well, I tried to reply to you Dry and it didn’t happen, the dog is barred from upstairs because I am “anal man.”

Yes, until she becomes your little GIRL, then she will be sleeping in your bed! :-D
