There was only one problem late last night when I read the latest installment of Retired and Lovin’ It : I had a sudden craving for cookies and there was not a one in the house. I actually (briefly) considered making some (at 1 am), but quickly nixed that idea.
Seriously, you hit another one out of the ballpark!!! Your small cast of characters is delightful; Cleo in all his wisdom and wit and Clarence and Clara (oooooh….I hope I have their names right — it’s been a while since you mentioned what they are…)in all their cluelessness.
@nighthawks – didn’t get back to CD yesterday so missed your Retired and Lovin’ It. When Stelbel started writing about cookies, though, I had to check it out. I really love your comics. I have no trouble at all eliminating cookies. Another great one – keep it up.
Not a boxing match.Someone had a strange comment about Grayhound.I’m going to see if I can find a dentist that will let me establish credit Monday morning.
Stel ol’ bel, here was the original silly promo:.*Claude and Clara Clifford live in Cleveland with their doggie Cleo. Claude , of course, is a retired clapper capper who loved classical clarinet but seems to now be a clueless clod.Clara has always been a clandestine clam digger with clammy hands. while some might see Cleo as clairvoyant, I just see him as clamoring for a clobbering
Well spring is definitely in the air here. I have pruned our plum and apple trees and i am about to cut back our decorative grasses. Some trees are leafing out and others are showing the signs.
athome, alone, I shot you that raspberry before I refreshed and saw your pictures! NO FAIR! Stel may have a fit too, because I believe she may be getting even more snow!
