While Mona will grow as a character because of this experience, Donna just has to keep reminding us of why it’s kind of funny to see her break and not learn a thing despite being confronted by all of her faults during this trip and going full-on Ralph Wiggum at the beginning of the vacation. Now I’m sorry I compared her intelligence to Ayumu Kasuga’s.
And what with Pierre and Monsieur Smokey (the one in the strip, not the lonely guy hopping around here) still minding the apartment, normalcy will not be restored anytime soon.
You mean all this time Mona just needed to get… er, ah… appreciated? Seems to work better than Prozac, and cheaper too. Does Big Pharma know about this? But where will Mona get her refills?
Oh, please. As heartless as Mona behaves toward Donna and her silly relationships, she wouldn’t get a bit of sympathy from me. Falling for a guy on vacation at your resort. SO jejune. Mind you, if you want to let loose on vacation, by all means, have fun, but don’t be so bourgeois as to fall for him!!

And Donna, you can’t be Mona forever, either! Balance in the universe must be restored!

Yes, that’s all she needed. Pills never work!

I was SO wrong!! I thought sure Mona was faking it just to get Donna’s goat. It’s not looking that way now.

Wait!! Mona isn’t on the plane yet! Maybe she will go native in the next strip and run to Ryan, leaving Donna in the Hawaiian coconut dust!
