I lift weight continuously throughout the day. I have to lift 250 lbs out of the recliner every time I make the trip to the refrigerator and back for food refills.
I lost 90 lbs. in less than 2 years. It’s amazing how easy it is to get up now. Just imagine walking around with a 90 lb. backpack on all day, every single day. (Try to imagine how hard it would be trying to fly!)
I can bench-press 100+ pounds! (Of course not, but I HAD to say it..)
Besides, I love every ONE of my pounds - they’re family. I wouldn’t want to lose a single one.

But you need to do the lift more than once to get the benefit. Try 3sets of 10.

His problem is that he has no problem lifting food up to his mouth.

Don’t forget those 12 oz curls after the workout! They count, too.

sjoujke, he couldn’t lift himself to a gym in the treetops. He joined one at ground level.

I always try to think of it as not losing anything (who wants to lose their keys, their wallet, purse, etc. etc.)
Think rather of it as getting lighter. Summers, now, I eat really light and try to go walking three mornings a week. It’s working, I’m lighter.
My dad once had some motivational subliminal diet tape he tried, that exhorted him that when he woke up, “…you’ll feel tremendous!” Cracked ‘im up!

Hey! I keep in shape! Round is a shape isn’t it? (I confess, stole that line from a friend… ;) )
