Probably (much)less than the wars in the last 50 years have cost the U.S. Taxpayers (I’m not talking “administrations”, I’m talking wars).

It was spent here on Earth, mostly in the U.S., building things and employing people.

To take just ONE example, how much have the improved weather forecasts, courtesy of weather satellites, saved, just in terms of dollars, let alone in lives?
