She asks Charlie Brown, "Have you hung your Christmas stocking yet, Charlie Brown?"<br> <br> He replies as she walks away smiling, "I sure have...go in, and see it while I put away your coat..."<br> <br> She calls back to him, "Hey! You've got a present already!"<br> <br> She smiles as they stand looking at Snoopy smiling down from a stocking hung over the fireplace. Charlie Brown mutters, "Oh, Good Grief!"<br> <br>

Odd that “Good Grief” is largely considered a Britishism, when it has become such a common expression in this most quintessentially American of cartoons.
