It’s clear from this strip that Schulz had very strong feelings about school prayer and the Supreme Court decision against it.

Charles Schultz actually got a lot of mail with mixed reactions. Some thought is was disturbing while others praised him.

This must have been near the time of that evil woman pushing/suing to get prayer out of school. Now we have gun violence and total disrespect for adults.
