Charlie Brown stands on the beach in swimming trunks and says, "Where's my beach ball?"<BR><BR> Charlie Brown gets indignant and says, "I came to the lake to enjoy myself, and right away my beach ball disappears!"<BR><BR> Charlie Brown yells, "All right, who's got my beach ball?"<BR><BR> Snoopy floats on the lake lying on the beach ball.<BR><BR>

And this had been the THIRD time that a possession of CB’s mysteriously disappeared, thanks to Snoopy. The other two times were the one strip from fall 1963, where CB’s poncho,which he needs because it’s raining, is missing(Snoopy is seen in closing panel of that strip, lying atop his doghouse with the poncho covering him),and the time, earlier in 1966, where CB found his white handkerchief missing, again, thanks to his humanlike dog(Snoopy had stolen it to use for his infamous WWI enactment.)

Not to mention Linus’ eyeglasses, Sally’s eye patch, the list goes on…
