I hope Brad gets a job soon. This story arc reminds me of when I was unemployed, & it was a very anxious time for me. I can’t stop reading Luann, but I don’t want reminders of that time.

Greg, you can take this ARC to a higher level. Most cities/counties have community colleges, which offer two year emergency tech programs. As a famous cook is fond of saying, “Kick it up a notch.”

Toni’s oxygen bottle was sure buried deep in Brad’s ribcage. The amount of damage she did to him at that time indicates that he must be serious if he wants her around. The lad has come a helluva long way since he used to slob out on the couch.

Well he could at least try to hire in with another fire house in another city.

Toni gets promoted and Brad becomes a stay at home dad as they adopt Shannon.

I get why he would need to seek an intermediary job to hold him over, but why is he looking at his fireman career as being over? Surely an opening will occur due to attrition at one of the local fire stations, and he would be first in line for rehire.

Well we have some sick people on the comic chat. This is a comic chat not a porno thing assof doom. Now that is done I think this is cute and oL Brad is a happy camper.

What if the only job Brad can find is working with Dirk as a garbage man? Or is Dirk gone now? Can’t remember. Or maybe Brad gets a crappy job, and Dirk shows back up doing really well…

This is very true about losing one’s job.

Toni moves into the house with Brad, TJ moves in with the family. All problems solved, the end.

I noticed in saturday’s strip that toni standing up is almost as tall as Brad. So let’s say Brad is 6’2" and Toni’s 6"1. They would make a basketball player at like 6’4"
