That’s the way golf courses were originally designed in Scotland where golf was first started. The USA prettied them up with new designs, grass, trees, etc. I have been in Scotland and can verify this.

B.C. Comics many years ago showed BC explaining golf the the good looking woman, he said the goal was to hit the ball as few times as possible, to which she said; “Why hit it at all?” That’s when I quit playing…..

Too bad I don’t play, I’ve got Black Wolf Run, 2 mile from my house and Whistling Straits (complete with sheep) 10 miles from me. Oh that’s right it’s just cow pasture pool, I can think of better things to waste hundreds of $$$.
