Great expressions on Flask – really showing the range of feeling.

He hasn’t even registered for the draft.

Now he is…Here come the papers.

I doubt there’s any way to not register for the draft. He probably had to fill out a profile when he went through orientation.At least we now know how Wally is going to get involved with this mission.

Does Flask recognize Wally’s name from some time in the past? Or is she just reading about what he did to the Topsiders earlier in the story?

I gather his complete profile, including testimony from Allie, is what she has access to. Definitely green, but “not asking questions”? Hooboy.

Those two look so sweet together…..And then – A Good Man(?) Goes to WAR.

Perhaps the “draft” is not the proper word And yet we know the journey’s most inimical How much will she describe of what’s occurred? It seems our Captain Flask is rather cynical It’s “questions” that are problems when they ask But to succeed, our team will need some history And there’s a lot I’d seek from Captain Flask Her hints are teasing at another mystery =|====/ Level Head

Petey recognized her as Blackie. Maybe she has recognized Wally from her past, he has to be on the ball, if he kept on the surface for years……………

I absolutely love the expressions in the last panel. Wonderfully done.

That last panel is priceless, I foresee an unconscious rat in the near future.

@route66paul Maybe its that she likes that he was a survivor so long on the surface alone. Says a lot about his stealth capabilities and survival instincts.

Much less an invitation, moreso a coercion…Wonder what Flask will do to get him to comply?

Aaron’s artwork is so emotive you don’t even need the standard “floating hearts” to know what’s up in the last panel. :)

Awwww…. Sadness to abound. :( I wonder if Holly will make an effort to try to go with Wally topside. He certainly won’t let her, but she’s strong willed – and will probably find a way.

You spelled “gives her her ass” wrong.

I’m wondering if Flask and Wally are each mutated Topsiders on different steps to handling grief and the realization that they’ve become “the enemy”. We’ve seen Wally go through bargaining, depression, and acceptance. Flask is still going through denial and anger, and some bargaining with Mallard. Wally has come to see mutants as people, while Flask still carries resentment toward them and herself.

Aaron, take the fourth panel, cut out the left third, center on Wally and Holly. Enlarge it. MAKE IT A POSTER!!!!!;-P Please??? Great work today! SSSSSooooo CUTE.
