Slightly off target, but I can appreciate the sentiment. It can be called the foundations of wisdom, but the meaning of life might be stretching it just a little bit.

A second thought… at least it wasn’t a “TREK CONVENTION” !!!

Just don’t get carried away with the sentiment. Toronto has more public libraries than NYC, thanks to several cities being amalgamated into one to make the current city. But you should hear the pathetic fanatics screech and squeal when the mayor suggests closing some of the redundant ones to save taxpayers’ money! Everyone has to have at least two within walking distance of their home apparently…

The library may not be the meaning of life, but you can look it up there.

The public library was my hideaway for many years during my youth. One of the few things from those dark days that is a happy memory.
