Noose, Papose, Ruse, Seuss, Obtuse are the only ones I came up with in a quick check thru the alphabet.

When I was Ruthie’s age, my Dad liked to use a pinch of Snus. Spruce, juice, recluse, and don’t need an excuse.

Here I thought had to use the same type of word with different letters for the word. How many more words can commentors come up with?

Wow, and who’da thought it would be useful that the other day I was reading about that Viking tribe that founded Russia, the Rus.

Uncle Tonoose was the best part of a show I never otherwise liked. But back then I liked Howdy Doody, so I’m not a reliable judge of ’50s TV.

How do I not remember Hans Conreid in that show but I remember Danny Thomas as the no account brother of Blanche on “The Bickersons”?

Toulouse the Moose. Actual name for a moose head that hung in my Dad’s vacation house for many years.
