I still vote for a real newspaper. If I could get all of my favorite comics (or at least most of them) and a better news section (ours is mostly local news and I want national and international), I’d subscribe every day. Now I just get it twice a week.
Today was Raise a Reader Day. Donate to buy a newspaper. Get to meet some of our local sports, media and local government types. I hit the soccer and hockey street corners. Was late for work, so couldn’t hunt down the football and baseball guys.

I’d love a real newspaper – but the online edition is within our budget right now!

….and the same goes for the wonderful aroma coming from the pages and binding of a brand new hard cover book….old fashioned? guess so

We couldn’t afford a news paper back in the day. We lived in New Castle, Pa back in 1953.
