‘Reminds me of an old MAD Magazine parody of the Howdy Doody show, in which the title puppet was named “Howdy Dooit”. At one point, Howdy Dooit does a commercial for a new product called BUPGOO, which you add to milk. It makes the milk separate into a brownish liquid on the bottom and a creamy head of foam on top. Hold on to that idea, Lee. We readers who are privy to the strip’s narration are rooting for the MCS to see through this disguise!(P.S. And the club sodas aren’t brown today!)

BOY that was a LONG time ago but I do remember the Mad Magazine parody, I also recall something about sneaking in a loaf of Squishy’s Bread into the shopping trolley when Mom (looking like an old witch) isn’t watching.

Wonder if the lady in the last panel has a club soda.

Putty stealing from Cueball’s which is owned by Mr. Crime. Not a good idea, unless his disguise holds out.

Perhaps the clear liquids in the glasses are reflecting the various colored lights from the stage where the band is playing?

I wonder if we’re going to see the two Cueballs come face to face.

Good morning D-T-phans !!!-It will soon be a year since Mike Curtis, Joe Staton, Shelley Pleger, Shane Fisher and Jim Doherty began their effort to save Dick Tracy from the fate of Annie and Brenda Starr and countless other great old strips. I can’t help but wonder … how many new newspapers have picked it up ???

Maybe the “Club” is adding vegetable dye to their club sodas? Why? Sp party goers can choose the color they want and look “cool”! Hay, look at me I’m drinking green club soda!!

Yesterday Tracy’s club soda was brown, today Lizz’s is clear and Lee’s is blue. The colorist can’t even be consistent.

Personally, I can overlook the coloring mistakes when Team Tracy is doing such a GREAT Job!!

But is he carrying a RedPop?

I LOVE how the Putty Puss storyline is now integrating into the wider Mr. Crime saga. It’s taken some time to develop, but the payoff has been great so far!! Your storytelling efforts are much appreciated, Mr. Curtis!

What’s wrong with ginger ale, folks?Club sode? Blegh!!

The “club soda” may not be soda. It could be some other non-alcoholic drink.. It it just takes up less space than writing say maybe, “Blue non-alcoholic party punch”.

They could be drinking Italian Sodas with different flavor syrups. They are made with club soda.

The current Team Tracy is great and I look forward to this strip more than ever.

If the MCU can color their club soda to look like mixed drinks, why can’t Cueball [sic] disguise his cosmopolitan as a can of pop?

So has anyone checked Google or Wikipedia lately.?Somebody doesn’t think much of SOPA and PIPA. I wonder how the e-mail servers at Congress and the Senate are doing about now.
