How fast did the Van Gogh?
Dangit. I’m guessing I’d have to be British &/or understand soccer to get today’s one. :-(
Had to be Man U. or Chelsea that paid that much.
Vincent ….. “starry starry night”
by Don MacClean
Don MacLean of American Pie (the song, not the movie) fame….
Could be “Starry Starry Night” by Don McLean.
He has NO idea!
LOL xxx
And to think that some current “artists” are being paid for just drawing a straight line or a squiggle. At least Van Gogh was a legitimate artist.
Don McLean sang Vincent, aka ‘Starry Starry night’.Cultural blindness is a common joke.i.e. Vincent Van Gogh is my favourite composer.
It wasn’t a band … it was Don McLean … he also wrote and sang American Pie.
Thank you all for reminding me of “Starry, Starry Night” I don’t think I’d remembered who it was about, but I always loved the song. Now it makes sense. Saw a video showing Van Gogh’s painting while listening to the music…..
