Take of notice how much the gangster in panel 4 looks like DT. (the guy saying “I Dunno boss”) I bet that locked door plats a major factor in the mess that’s about to occur & that safety dance that Putty was talking about a couple of days ago isn’t looking so safe at the moment. This comic strip just keeps getting better!
Putty Puss shouldn’t have tried to over complicate his escape. Instead of slipping through a service door, he should have gone straight for an exit – after all, he’s disguised as Cueball, so being seen is no problem. Will he and his boys escape? Will Tracy find fingerprints on the drug packages? (Remember, Doubleup made the delivery!)Woo Gosh! What’s next?

Good morning, VB! Lee found the ‘snow’. So much for a good hiding place.

Re Crime Stoppers: I never could understand why women used back pack purses. You might as well put a sign on them saying’*Steal My Wallet, Please!’*

Looks like Lee has stumbled upon the cache of nose candy (ahem)! Why is that ’Service" door locked? I foresee mayhem!

Does anyone else see the “phantom” lettering on the crimestoppers textbook?
trickdacy almost 13 years ago
It looks like alternate or first draft text. I can make out the words “can’t easily afford”.

I live in Chicago and several police officers I know refer to themselves as coppers.

OH, golly gee, what next?

Great strip!

I thought the phantom lettering might be from an earlier Crimestopper panel but those words weren’t used in any of the current team’s earlier Sundays.
