“Your people?” A “positive stereotype” is still a stereotype. Why can’t Warbucks simply be impressed by Asp’s efficiency? And must they always draw him so angular and shadowy? (Maybe it’s just me.)
I too took Warbucks comment not to be racial but as a reference to Asp’s staff as in the people who work for him.
This strip isn’t as interesting to me when Annie isn’t in it. I can’t tell the “good guys” from the “bad guys”. Or maybe there are no good guys.
