Mom would send our Saint Bernard to wake up Dad for breakfast on Sunday mornings. She usually had to go get them both when Brandy climbed into bed for a nap with Dad.
Beau the Doberman shared our bed for 14 years. I dont know which of us liked cuddling up to my hubby more, Beau or me, but I do know that once he went to work, me and Beau did just fine cuddling back up without him. Lost Beau and him both one year and had to get another Dobie just to have a snuggle bunny. Still miss Beau and Ron too!
I have at all black lab named duke-he is a marmaduke-does this e ery morning and when I tell him no, he lays down but eventually the tail starts pounding the furniture

He must have got the shock of his life to open his eyes to find a huge Great Dane’s face looking straight at him.
