I had a friend who did the same thing. I finally told her she could save money on sugar if she just stirred it in after each teaspoon to get the taste she wanted, then she would know exactly how much sugar she needed and her sugar would last longer. She said that takes too long. Go figure.

Nine teaspoons of sugar in a cup of coffee is the same amount of sugar that you’ll get in a 12 oz Coke. Metabolic syndrome here I come.
