    For the life of me I can’t figure why it would be better warm than cold.

    The idea is to put cocoa in it before drinking.

    I’ve tried warm milk and it does not work….but it shouldn’t work if you add chocolate, because chocolate is also a source of caffeine.

    “I guess it’s less of a shock to the system than something icy cold. The Chinese generally prefer to drink slightly warm water than ice water because ice water is believed to chill the kidneys, which puts additional stress on the body. . . .”

    +++++

    I also prefer cool, but not iced water. Water (or other drinks) that are too cold feel wrong in my mouth. Even if I am very hot, it just doesn’t cut it for me.

    I’m with the idea that warm milk keeps from being such a shock that you wake up more than get sleepier.

    Do they make decaffeinated Hot Chocolate for bedtime use?

    +++++

    Good Morning, everybody!

    Hello Tribe! My internet went out yesterday evening. The repairman just fixed it, 6:00 pm. It wasn’t in my apartment but a piece of hardware elsewhere in the building that failed.

    That must have been frustrating, Sojo. a non-GoComics related problem you couldn’t do anything about.

    Hey there kids. Just finished dying eggs a little while ago so im typing with pink fingers. :-)I’ve alway preferred my drinks ice cold. The only beverages I drink warm are coffee and hot cocoa.

    It was frustrating. It’s the first problem I’ve had here (15 months) and I can’t get out to fix it myself, I was thinking it was my modem. I do depend on it for my finances, shopping, email, social, information I’m researching, email, etc. I’ve also taken over a blog to post several pieces of science info. a day, over 30,ooo people have looked at it and there are several hundred people around the world that regularly read it, I’d hate to be down for awhile.

    My kids are smarter than I, they figured out quick that the way to go was the plastic eggs with candy inside. And yes, I found myself buying treats for my nineteen year old daughter.

    (sigh) What will I do with the leftovers?
