Today looks like trouble — a great flying pile The clueless AM’s been absorbed in denial And the ship’s “instantaneous” … just takes a while. So there’s no “miss” in “missile’s as good as a mile” =|====/ Level Head Vote for Endtown 2.0 And for Doc Rat, too The Endtown Forum Charter member of the Consortium to get Aaron a Tablet
And last week’s five day cliffhanger gets off to a bright and early start this week! How long will this suspense last? How long will we last? If things keep up at this rate, I’ll be put in mind of Strauss’ Electra, where the tension, drama and pure bombast of the music doesn’t let up for an entire half hour!
For those of you that want to buy the first two volumes of Endtown, Jarlidium is saying that they’re now in the process of putting together the Amazon shop. More news as it occurs.
Okay, folks.. Here’s my new scheme to help keep Endtown alive: The Endtown Auction Block.
I’ll be auctioning off four original strips and one brand-new color drawing a week, all with very low starting bids. I haven’t seen this done before for a webstrip, and maybe there’s a reason for that.. but it seems worth a try. Please drop by and take a look.. Thanks, all! :-)
It has been said. Count down is NOT the same thing as instantaneous. Hmm/ I think we are going to like this new scheme. I with you. Can’t afford but i am cheering from the bleachers. Blessed Be.
Maybe the transfer is for crew / pasengers and not the ship. Either that or the effect of the transfer protects the ship during the transfer from the exploding misiles.
Hmm. . .the missile launcher showed three missiles. Frame 4 shows two still in the air. That means only 1 hit, but a pretty big one at that. Everyone could still be, and from the area of destruction probably are, in a “safe area.” Besides, AM still doesn’t seemed phased by what’s happening. I’d say everything is just fine for now. AM’s “time to go?” may indicate a need to abandon ship when they get to the other side of the teleportation.
Jenner – I made a (very late) comment yesterday about the docrat.com.au site being flagged as an Attack Page to which TSoJ wondered if it was connected to the FBI’s blocking (or no longer blocking) a virus that infected a few billion computers around the planet. In any case, I wanted to bring it to your attention since I’m certain Doc Rat would not intentionally want to attack anyone’s computer.
Look closely at frame 4. Look at the missile trajectory trails. One to port, one to starboard and one seemingly a direct hit to the bow. It appears from the looks of things that the one that hit the bow penetrated and is blowing out the stern. This would have been from a pass through of the cargo hold.
That is assuming of course that the construction is the same as a sailing vessel with respect to placement of the various sections. (Which seems to be the case from all indications since the vessel was first encountered.)

D: So much for wondering where they’re being teleported to.

The Endtown Auction Block is a great idea. Start it up and stick with it. Momentum will build. Check it out, everyone.

Conclusions: Ship damaged? Yep.Still navigable? Likely.Passengers survived? Probably.Ship repairable. Uncertain.Aaron maximizing suspense? Most assuredly!!!!!
