Ahh the lima bean torture of my childhood. They should feed prisoners lima beans on a regular basis.

Oh Lima Beans are good, especially when used as Baked Beans, or in succotash!

Not that I’ve ever been able to tell. I, for one, cannot stand ANY of the legume family. Nothing good comes of them, and they are the origin of the foulest of “ill winds”

Try roasting the sprouts with bacon, then you see the redeeming qualities!

I am a junk food junkie but, I love all vegetables except okra. It’s not the slime that bothers me ,it’s the taste. Tried mixing them with other veggies, fried , boiled them.(gaaaag) Can’t choke them down. Just tried asparagus for first time at a buffet. Thought they were long string beans. Been hooked on them ever since.

I used to eat lima beans, years ago. Now? Not so much. To each his/her own, though.
