Whenever Joel is around the strip is infinetly better and more interesting. The jug is a necessary companion for hiim because of the other folks in town being a bit aggrivating.

Penny…. I hope you are not taking my comment to suggest I dislike the strip. On the contrary…. I greatly enjoy the comic…. I just happen to ESPECIALLY like the comic and think it is at its very best when Joel is part of the comic.

I’m not sure that I’ve ever actually seen Joel taking a swig from his jug…..I think it’s just there for show.
