There’s this great commercial for an insurance company where one of the actors says that if it’s on the internet then it must be true, because they can’t put anything on the internet that isn’t true. “Where did you hear that?” “On the internet.”

If it’s not on you-tube, it didn’t happen.

“The story is true.”

“But, I have 30 minutes that must be filled with “news” every single day – so by golly, I will create “news” to fill it – truth (?) we don’t need no stinking truth."

Wow, ending a silly week with a nasty zinger – I hope you caught some media people unawares (they had it coming)

Ever wonder if the news was always so agenda driven? Reading historical books seem to suggest so, but then you got to wonder if the historians are agenda driven. But you got to believe Agent X, surely he doesn’t lie.

Journalism is dead.

“Content aggregators?” Sounds like an oxymoron. Oh, oh! You mean “content,” as in ingredients. Not “content” as in the opposite for “malcontent.” Makes a big difference.
