Artur may be on Nate’s side, because he knows Nate should be rewarded for his hard work, and Gina does about nothing. It’s like she has a homework machine.

I saw on bignatebooks.com that there was going to be a new person that does chess in October. I didn’t know that was going to be GINA.

Okay, here I don’t blame Nate. He has to put up with Gina in class but not extracurricular activities, Unfortunately the school has to allow her in.

First Artur, now Gina

The really scary part is that I’m beginning to think that Gina actually likes Nate and wants to spend more time with him. After all, a lot of girls have pretend an interest in sports just to be near a certain boy. Gina may have simply learned how to play chess well just to be near Nate.

Poor Nate.

A romance is brewing between these two.

Life stinks, doesn;t it? There is no place where people can’t insinuate themselves in your life and make it miserable. :)

If Gina beats Nate in Chess like Artur did to him, He could quit Chess for good.

Oh, man, this isn’t so bad……taken constructively, Gina’s presence on the team could have a gradual easing effect on that sorry, manic-depressive cloud Nate carries around with him about being eternally threatened by Artur’s presence ( a nice kid, that Artur….will Nate ever “get” this?). Talk to him, teacher!!

Watch in high school Gina and Nate will be sweethearts.

Oh how I hope she stinks at it…what a beatiful storyline that would be.

I think she’s there because she likes chess and takes pride in being good at it. Tormenting Nate is just a fringe benefit.
