She’ll wear it any way she can, if her mother allows it.

Normal these days. And my 5 year old is their queen!

I figure, if it’s not hurting anything, why not?

By next summer, it probably won’t fit anymore.

… and THAT is who started the “pants under the skirt” look.It totally ruins hot gals (25-40) who do it, but on kids it’s adorable and cute. :D

To a 4 yr old, its normal, they are experimenting their limits on what to wear and how to wear it.

Yep, normal behavior for lots of them that age. Our six-year-old is still at it. Her mom puts her foot down, but I’ll often let her layer (but summery dress goes under the layers)..

At least it’s better than the bevavior of some of her siblings, who have to be corralled to get out of dirty, torn clothes, take a bath, wash hair and get tangles out.

I’m kinda of the live and learn type of mom,‘. when my son threw a fit about wearing a jacket in the middle of fall, I said; fine, but don’t complain if your cold. He didn’t throw many fits about wearing a jacket later.
