What is it about death today? I guess it’s inevitable…this strip reminded me of an incident that happened last year in Augusta…man had passed away, viewing was supposed to take place in fifteen minutes, oldest son comes to view the body. Son gets mad as hell, because dad’s body is in the wrong suit. Dad’s suit is on another body. Director say he’ll take care of everything. Ten minutes later, director shows son that dad is in the proper suit. Son is satisfied….for a few seconds. Tell me something: can you get undressed out of one suit, and get yourself dressed in another suit in less than ten minutes. Pushing it, right? Can’t do it on a dead man, that’s why the director switched heads for the viewing…

Oh, married 40 years?
Sorry, my mistake! That couldn’t be Ted.

Maybe it should have been a closed-coffin funeral.
