Indifference to the law doesn’t get you off the hook. The average jury member doesn’t know the difference between immoral and amoral.

It’d be tastier though, if there were a morel in it.

Lots of laws out there that don’t really matter.

Used to be one locally that alcoholic beverages couldn’t be sold before 1pm Sunday. Why? What does it matter?

In my state you can’t buy booze at all on Sunday. State was founder by a Hooker. You figure.. Lots of tax dollars go out of state Sunday. You can buy guns but can’t hunt on Sunday.

Must have read “Cluelessness for Dummies.”

Chapter 1. You too can be clueless. Chapter 2. How to ignore everything. Chapter 3. Why you are more important than the truth. Chapter 4. Six easy excuses for doing what you want to do. Chapter 5. ????????????

He and the sweet young thing who insulted Lamont in Candorville should hook up. They would be a perfect match.

Right and wrong only exist because there is such a thing as good and bad, and they exist because there is life and death, happiness and misery, pleasure and pain. And they are why ANYTHING matters.

(Most people are unaware that there is philosophy behind everything, even the comics. This one just happens to bring it closer to the surface.)

    We agree pschearer.

    What a rarity.

However I do love many of your comments that aren’t about economic issues.

Your non-theism and openness to immigration makes sense too.

Pooh: I’ll accept your nice words and ignore the part about economic issues. At another time I can go into how economic issues also relate to good/bad, life/death, etc.

myming, I was just beginning to think the same thing. I used to be a regular on the editorial side but got so tired of the vitriol. What’s worse, I realized I was taking part in it and did not like that in myself.
