He should exert more “joules” in order to satisfy the collective.

It’s not the cost that makes a gift priceless, it’s the love.

I did know a guy once whose fiancee’s parents bought this huge honker of a diamond engagement ring for their daughter because, as a med student, he could only afford a small stone. Personally, I would’ve taken that as a red flag that nothing he did going forward was going to be good enough. And so it played out. That poor guy was nagged at with gimme gimme gimme until he finally divorced her. Which cost him a pretty penny too.

Go the other way for a truly rare and valuable ring, get her a Buckyball (fullerene).

You know the old saying: “The smaller the diamond, the smaller the man”.

SOME women Dress for OTHER women, WRONG! AND who cares what ANYONE THINKS? ITS THE SIZE OF THE MEANING, not the size of the stone.

I’ve heard it said that women don’t dress to impress men, they dress to impress other women. I don’t know. (A lot of things) However, the thong type bathing suits cut high on the sides are purportedly to make the legs look longer but are, I suspect, to make the men look longer.

It’s the clarity of diamonds that count.

That’ll probably always be the case. By the way, are you still talking about the ring?
