I have a co-worker who was selling his home “as-is” and had to keep arguing with the potential buyer who kept asking for things to be done. He kept responding with, “it’s as-is”. He was finally able to make them understand what “as-is” means and they closed on it, though it took a couple of weeks of back and forth which was a waste of time.
