Door Mat outside? Door Mat inside? Door mats on both sides.
Isn’t the door mat usually on the outside of the door? I know some people have them inside, too or instead. But I want to keep the outside, outside, so I “decontaminate” before entering my house. Having them on both sides seems more Obsessive compulsive.
I’m playing the “Door” game right now. Cat is on the porch looking in through the glass storm door and waiting for me to get up. I’ve a few more comics to read….then she gets to come in for her insulin….“Damn Cat” loves to play the “Door” game!
I’ve always taught my cats that the door stays open for a verbal count of 3. It didn’t take long for them to learn this, even if some bolt as the door starts closing.

The owner of In-N-Out Burger must be a cat person.

It’s not a matter of wanting to be out or wanting to be in. They prefer to have the door open.

Reminds me of the mantra we used to have in the military, hurry up and wait.
