Range anxiety!!!

By the time you get to Phoenix she’ll be rising.

A larger fuel tank does the same thing.

I owned an EV that had a true range of 60 miles. I always sweated range even though I drove only 25 miles a day. I replaced that EV with a newer EV and found I started to sweat the range even when I have 200 miles left on range. For the last five years I used public charging three times.

Comes with a 200 mile long extension cord

Lucid Air. 516 miles advertised. A former colleague got 535. Put our name on a reservation list last week

The road to regret is a long and extremely quiet one.

Battery life is unpredictable based upon hills, temperatures, road conditions or construction, traffic, tire pressure, etc. I’ll stick with gas/hybrid for as long as the market (government) will allow. Just got our electric bill at home. Wow gasoline prices are much cheaper than electric rates.

Just image: if 50% of the cars on the road today were replaced with electric cars, what will that do for electric rates???

Electric vehicles are not for those who cannot plan. Or are short on cash.

Yup. Same with 4-wheel drive. It just means you’ll be farther out in nowhere when you finally get stuck.

That’s assuming that you stop to consider the consequences.

The consequences when the charge station shown on the map is out of order or doesn’t even exist and you’re out of juice.

I have encountered too many people who would want that car for that exact purpose.
