Our area once had wonderful FM stations that played ‘easy listening’ music, now all replaced by rap, and rock ‘music’!!

An easy listening station had a motto that I parodied with “You just realized your daughter made her chocolate chip cookies with Ex-lax, and you’re comfortable with KAIR continuous music”

I went through an easy listening phase when I was, yes, in high school back in the 70s. I worked in a photographer’s darkroom, and my boss pointed out that when I had easy listening music on the radio, my work was better than when I listened to the news. But I didn’t listen to it outside of work!

I don’t really get today’s comic……perhaps it hits a little to close to home?:-)

That uncomfortable-looking “easy” chair sure makes me appreciate my recliner!
