60 years ago a HS art “teacher” shoved another students drawing in my face in front of the class to tell me how inadequate she thought my first assignment was. She was supposed to be teaching art, not bullying me. I remember her and two others who thought it was their job to discourage and embarrass me. I also remember those who excelled at their profession.

HA! Now that’s funny, Mike. Medi-ochre was all the rage when I was learning to paint in art college.

Very funny, Mike. Or to put it another way, today’s comic wasn’t mediocre at all. (So maybe it was yellow ochre?)
